THE REST

Between 2017 and 2023, Superbalist wasn’t just my workplace—it was my laboratory, my proving ground, and my creative anchor. I joined with one clear goal: make shopping simpler, smarter, and more human. What began as a pursuit of better UI quickly evolved into building an entire design ecosystem that would shape how millions experienced fashion online.

Developing the visual language fort superbalist was a pleasure. After it was finally signed off after months of waiting, Gilroy was a go ahead. I believed that the I identity should change, but thats a long story for another day. The identity was strong, yet weakly put together.

Across six years, every iteration—from Web 1.0 through Design Language III to Stitch V0.1—represented a shift in both tooling and mindset. We moved from Sketch and Zeplin to Figma, from isolated design files to a living, breathing system of tokens, libraries, and frameworks. By the time Stitch reached maturity, inconsistencies were down by 70%, release cycles were 40% faster, and cross-platform parity finally felt real.

But this wasn’t just about performance metrics—it was deeply personal. Late nights blurred into early mornings spent testing layouts, refining motion, and aligning systems that no one else could quite see yet. Developing Superbalist’s visual language was a highlight: Gilroy became the backbone, the brand’s voice sharpened, and every pixel began to speak the same dialect.

The images here—screens, sketches, boards, and unfinished UIs—capture that era of intensity. They’re fragments of a process where intuition met structure, where obsession found rhythm, and where design, at least for a while, became a full-time state of mind.

Stitch became more than a design system—it was a philosophy of craft and clarity. It taught me that great systems are not built through perfection, but through persistence; not in isolation, but through iteration.
